102 Salisbury Road

Brookline, Massachusetts 02445

We complain about it in whispered conversations amongst ourselves.

We may even go so far as to gab about it with a few guests at the Shabbos table.

But we virtually NEVER face the issue in an open public forum – UNTIL NOW!

As part of its “T TIME” series, CONGREGATION CHESED V’EMES is proud to sponsor a presentation by Ira Axelrod, entitled,

“AND I SHALL SUPPORT THEE”

at our site at the

AISHEL CENTER

102 Salisbury Road, Brookline

on Shabbos afternoon, August 23

at 2:30 p.m.

As a writer, lecturer, matchmaker, counselor, Jewish community activist and former teacher of economics and history, Ira Axelrod is uniquely qualified to bring a frank and stimulating approach to a subject for too-long widely avoided, but which has far-reaching implications for Torah-observant Jews everywhere.

Men AND Women are cordially invited to this

precedent-setting and informative Shabbos afternoon activity.

Light refreshments will be served.

“T TIME”

“T” can stand for many things:

First, of course, is Torah, Talmud and Tanach, which is at the heart of everything we do.

“T” also stands for Tea,

which is actually a euphemism for all of the refreshments we will serve.

“T” also stands for “Tisch”, implying a festive table.

Indeed, this event will be part Oneg Shabbos, part Chassidic Tisch and part “kumsitz”.

“T” also stands for Truth which, however inconvenient, as the popular phrase goes,

will permeate our program.

Finally, “T” stands for THINK, which we will motivate you to do by our presentation.

This program is part of the Shabbos-long commemoration of the yahrtzeit of David Axelrod, obm, Ira’s father.
