Tehillim (Book of Psalms), Chapter 34

'"`UNIQ--named-00000000-QINU`"'1 A Psalm of David; when he changed his demeanour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000001-QINU`"'2 I will bless HaShem at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000002-QINU`"'3 My soul shall glory in HaShem; the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000003-QINU`"'4 O magnify HaShem with me, and let us exalt His name together.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000004-QINU`"'5 I sought HaShem, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000005-QINU`"'6 They looked unto Him, and were radiant; and their faces shall never be abashed.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000006-QINU`"'7 This poor man cried, and HaShem heard, and saved him out of all his troubles.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000007-QINU`"'8 The angel of HaShem encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000008-QINU`"'9 O consider and see that HaShem is good; happy is the man that taketh refuge in Him.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000009-QINU`"'10 O fear HaShem, ye His holy ones; for there is no want to them that fear Him.

'"`UNIQ--named-0000000A-QINU`"'11 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; but they that seek HaShem want not any good thing.

'"`UNIQ--named-0000000B-QINU`"'12 Come, ye children, hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of HaShem.

'"`UNIQ--named-0000000C-QINU`"'13 Who is the man that desireth life, and loveth days, that he may see good therein?

'"`UNIQ--named-0000000D-QINU`"'14 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

'"`UNIQ--named-0000000E-QINU`"'15 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

'"`UNIQ--named-0000000F-QINU`"'16 The eyes of HaShem are toward the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000010-QINU`"'17 The face of HaShem is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000011-QINU`"'18 They cried, and HaShem heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000012-QINU`"'19 HaShem is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000013-QINU`"'20 Many are the ills of the righteous, but HaShem delivereth him out of them all.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000014-QINU`"'21 He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000015-QINU`"'22 Evil shall kill the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall be held guilty.

'"`UNIQ--named-00000016-QINU`"'23 HaShem redeemeth the soul of His servants; and none of them that take refuge in Him shall be desolate.
